Unión 2019 is a limited-edition Ribera del Duero created by Cría Cuervos in collaboration with Ivan Rakitić. Made from carefully selected grapes from the vineyards of Los Anarinos, El Hoyo and El Rubial, this is a structured and elegant red wine with depth, maturity and excellent balance.

Tasting Notes

Deep cherry-red color with impressive intensity and a dense appearance.

The nose reveals ripe forest fruits, complemented by balsamic and spicy notes, along with hints of cocoa and licorice.

On the palate, it is full-bodied, fleshy and structured while remaining smooth and approachable. Toasted notes from the oak are balanced by fresh acidity, creating an elegant wine with a long, persistent finish.

Winemaking

The grapes are 100% destemmed and fermented at controlled temperatures in a combination of wooden, stainless-steel and concrete tanks.

The wine is aged for 15 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months of bottle aging before release.

Ana de Heras Cordón is an elegant dry white Rioja made entirely from Viura, also known as Macabeo. The grapes come from 10–20-year-old vines planted at approximately 500 meters above sea level, with southern exposure and clay-limestone soils.

The nose offers aromas of apricot, peach and grapefruit, complemented by delicate notes of cardamom. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced and slightly balsamic, with subtle buttery notes on the finish.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested in early October and transported to the winery in 20 kg boxes.

After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo a 24-hour cold pre-fermentation maceration at 5°C.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C using native yeasts.

After fermentation, the wine remains in contact with its fine lees for 5 months, adding texture and complexity while preserving freshness.

Heras Cordón Reserva is a structured and elegant Rioja produced from mature vineyards in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta. The vines grow at approximately 550 meters above sea level on clay-limestone, highly stony soils, with strict yield control to concentrate quality and character.

Tasting Notes

Deep, bright cherry-red color with youthful blue tones.

The nose is intense, showing aromas of red cherries, forest berries, red currant and cassis, followed by subtle roasted notes and spices such as pink pepper.

On the palate, it is expressive and fruit-driven, with silky red-fruit flavors, excellent freshness and well-balanced acidity. The tannins are present but smooth and well integrated, giving the wine structure and elegance. The finish is long and pleasant, with delicate notes of coffee and toffee.

Winemaking

The grapes are hand harvested, selecting only healthy and fully ripe fruit. They are transported to the winery in 20 kg boxes and sorted upon arrival.

Fermentation takes place in 28,000-liter stainless-steel tanks with native yeasts at a controlled temperature of approximately 30°C, with daily pump-overs and cap management.

The wine undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

It is then aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.

Heras Cordón Vendimia Seleccionada is a limited-production Rioja red crafted from vineyards located across Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta, including Laguardia, Elciego, Lapuebla, Cenicero and Fuenmayor. The vineyards sit at approximately 550 meters above sea level on clay-limestone and highly stony soils.

Tasting Notes

Bright, intense cherry-red color with youthful tones.

The nose opens with sweet pastry notes of vanilla and cocoa, ripe red fruit and a subtle chamomile-like aromatic character. With aeration, additional notes of coffee, red berries, graphite and sandalwood emerge.

On the palate, the wine is smooth and silky, with medium body and flavors of raspberry, plum, chocolate and delicate toasted notes. It shows excellent structure and balance between fruit, tannins and acidity, finishing long, lively and persistent with ripe red-fruit notes.

Fermentation takes place in 28,000-liter stainless-steel tanks using native yeasts at a controlled temperature of approximately 30°C, with daily pump-overs and cap management.

It is then aged for 13 months in American oak barrels.

Pie de Monte Inmigrantes Blancas de Pie Franco 2025 is a distinctive old-vine white blend from Tupungato in the Uco Valley, produced from historic own-rooted vines planted in 1930 at 1,200 meters above sea level. The vineyard combines traditional massal selection with stony, calcareous soils, creating a vibrant and textured expression of Mendoza’s viticultural heritage.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow with subtle greenish highlights. The nose shows bright citrus notes of grapefruit accompanied by a pleasant herbal character.

On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity and a smooth, textured mouthfeel, with fresh tropical fruit and delicate herbal notes leading into a refreshing finish.

Winemaking

The grapes were manually harvested during the first half of February 2025 and transported to the winery in 18 kg boxes before optical sorting.

No maceration was performed. Alcoholic fermentation took place with native yeasts for 16 days at 13–14°C.

No malolactic fermentation was carried out, helping preserve the wine’s freshness and acidity. The wine was then aged for 6 months in concrete.

Bottled in September 2025.

Pie de Monte Inmigrantes Tintas de Pie Franco 2024 is a distinctive old-vine red blend from Tupungato in the Uco Valley, produced from historic own-rooted vines planted in 1930 at 1,200 meters above sea level. The blend combines Bonarda, Tempranillo and Bequignol, highlighting the character of traditional Mendoza vineyards and their calcareous, stony soils.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red with subtle purple highlights. The nose offers expressive aromas of ripe cherry, dark fruits and ripe figs.

On the palate, flavors of red fruits, cherries and red fruit jam are complemented by elegant tannins and a smooth, rounded finish.

Malolactic fermentation took place in concrete, followed by 10 months of aging in concrete vessels.

Bottled in February 2025. The wine was not stabilized, filtered or fined.
