100% Criolla | Mendoza, Argentina | 12.63% Alc. A fresh, juicy and vibrant expression of one of Argentina’s historic native grape varieties. Cara Sucia Criolla 2025 is produced by Héctor and Pablo Durigutti from old vines planted in 1940 in Santa María de Oro, Rivadavia, Mendoza. With its light ruby-red color, bright red-fruit character and refreshing acidity, this is an easy-drinking, expressive wine made to be enjoyed slightly chilled.

Tasting Notes

Light red in color with delicate aromas of fresh strawberry, ripe red fruits and floral notes. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh and vibrant, with a smooth, refreshing entry and excellent drinkability. Serving Temperature: 12–14°C / 54–57°F

Winemaking

The grapes were manually harvested during the second half of March 2025 and transported to the winery in 18 kg boxes. After optical sorting, the fruit underwent a one-day cold maceration at 10°C. Fermentation was carried out using native yeasts in concrete vats under controlled temperatures. The wine was then aged for 4 months in concrete vats. No malolactic fermentation was performed in order to preserve its natural freshness and acidity. Unfiltered and unfined.
