A high-altitude Malbec from Finca Las Jarillas in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, grown at an impressive 1,360 meters above sea level. Made from massal-selection vines planted in 2005, this wine reflects the mineral character and freshness of Gualtallary’s alluvial soils, rich in calcium carbonate and intrusive rock.
Tasting Notes
Deep purplish in color with expressive aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and characteristic herbal notes.
The palate is juicy and energetic, with a fine texture, rounded tannins and excellent freshness. The finish is long, elegant and persistent.

Winemaking
The grapes were manually harvested during the first half of March 2023 and received at the winery in 18 kg boxes with optical sorting.
The wine underwent a one-day cold maceration at 10°C, followed by alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts for 18 days at controlled temperatures of 25–26°C in concrete vats.
Malolactic fermentation took place in 3,000-liter concrete eggs, followed by 10 months of aging in the same concrete eggs.
Bottled in July 2024.
